Paul is imprisoned in Rome…for preaching the gospel. We know as Christians we are going to suffer for the gospels sake but when it comes we shake in our boots! Do you? Even when we “imprisoned” for the gospels sake we are to continue encouraging others! Paul looked at his circumstances as being a prisoner of Jesus Christ not of Rome. Perspective Matters Folks! I don’t know how many times I’ve read this passage and it never sunk in that Pauls perspective changed everything. We need a mind shift!
