Week 1 Day 1 

Week 1 Day 1 focuses on James 1: 2-4

Transforming Trials is an amazing Bible study written by my good friends, Mason and Marina Shelton. I can’t wait to share them with you.

Trials aren’t fun! No one signs up for them yet they always have purpose in the plan of God.

Marina and Mason’s launching pad statement for today is: The trials we go through aren’t purposeless.

How true that is!  Often times the purpose is lost in the pain. As a Christian, we trust His hand to do a great work even in the midst of the darkest trial.

Some take-away “one liners”  I see  from Mason and Marina for Week 1 day 1 are listed below:

• -James affirms suffering!

-Our hearts are aways being influenced by our experiences and our hearts are always responding to our circumstances, (this one has some teeth)

-One theme running through James’ letter is this: your responses reflect your heart.
