Under The Influence

A Conference To Help You Walk In Your Purpose

A note from Marni!!!

I cannot wait for you to meet these amazing ladies that will be speaking at our FIRST EVER women’s conference! I know all these gals personally and they are going to knock your socks off! These are real women who are on the trail of trusting Jesus with every fiber of their being.

They aren’t perfect but they realize the necessity for going where Jesus leads them, even if it’s through uncomfortable doors. These ladies pour into other women on the daily! I know because I am one of them! Come ready to be challenged and encouraged as we sit around the subject of being “Under The Influence” of other strong Christian women.

Time is short!

Most of us have waited for someone else to step up and lead the next generation of women that will impact our Country!

That stops today!!!

Sheryl Myrick

Sheryl Myrick, of Pascagoula, Mississippi, is a wife, mom, and educator. She married Robby in 1984 and they enjoy beach walks, Netflix binges, and time with their three adult children who are all now building their respective careers and families. Her primary love language is QT (quality time), and her secondary is Gifts. She loves to read, journal, and watch old reruns of Friends, The Office, and anything Christmas. Growing up the youngest of three girls in a “Beaver Cleaver” household, her love for home and family were firmly rooted when she met Robby. Her story of teenage love, disappointments and failures, self-image issues, life as a minister’s wife, and loss of loved ones at midlife are an amazing testimony of God’s everlasting love, His neverending Mercy, and the power of Grace. You will be inspired, encouraged, and changed by the Holy Spirit as you meet and get to know Sheryl.

Melissa Bazzell

Melissa is the Executive Director of Catalyst Community Center, where she promotes the concept that REALationships Matter. She has a background in teaching, education administration, behavior therapy, professional development, and business management. She is a certified Enneagram Trainer. She currently blogs for the Unfake Life and hopes to publish a book in 2020. Melissa is married to her high school sweetheart, Jesse and they have three children. Her passions include all things bacon and coffee, advocating for the underdog, creating authentic community, abiding in the Creator, going on adventures,  being an ADHD hobbyist and helping others to discover what makes them come alive. She wholeheartedly embraces her favorite quote, “anyone can find the dirt in someone, be the one that finds the gold;” which has become her life motto.

Allie McClain

Not much grass grows under Allie’s feet. She has her plate full of family, faith, and friends. She opened her own local business in 2017 called 2 Chicks and A Farmer. she is a mother of two, Conlee and Brex. She also is a pastors wife. The last few years have been a blossoming season for her. From raising a family, starting her personal business, to birthing a new church plant, God has shifted her in many ways all for the advancement for the Kingdom. She is invested relationally with everyone she meets. I have loved watching God stretch this precious friend of mind. She is sure to challenge you in your walk with Christ.

Katy McHolm

Katy McHolm, of Vail, Arizona, is a wife and mother whose heart knows no bounds. Katy and I met in 2018 when she came as a “third wheel” to a conference that my “tribe” and I were attending. I had reservations about her joining our “tribe” at the time, but boy was I wrong! She has sass and Jesus! I didn’t know Jesus sass is a thing but that’s what she has. She is one of my dearest friends. If you wanna hear a straight word from someone then Katy can give it to you. She is somehow able to say the most difficult things but sprinkled with Jesus enough that my heart can accept it. She is a mother of 6! Yes, I said 6! She and her husband, Brian, began reaching out to their local college ministry studends in 2003. Her heart is to show the love of Christ to the next generation and mentor them to know Christ more intimately and help them stand in their faith. Her mission statement is that she would be a tool in His hands and to love others.

What should I expect?

The Under The Influence Conference is all about walking in your purpose. All of us have had seasons where we were just lost in the weeds. New seasons God has for us seem way to big for us, yet He has called us to them. Many times women wait for someone else to lead the way and impact the next generation. When we wait for someone else to step up…someone else never does.

Who is this conference for?

The Under The Influence Conference is for women ages 18-75! Please, no young women under the age of 18. We want the freedom to tackle difficult subjects in the lives of women. There will be something for each of you. Seasons change but all of us need a reminder that we are useful for the Kingdom!

How much does the conference cost?

The worship concert and the one-day session is $20.00. We want you to have the opportunity to come so we are keeping the conference price very low this year.

How do I sign up and purchase my tickets?

Click any of the “sign me up” buttons, and you will be taken to a registration page. Once it is submitted you will be sent a PayPal invoice for the total cost of every ticket your purchase.
